Singapore – 18 June 2025 – The International Centre for Industrial Transformation (INCIT) and Yokogawa Middle East & Africa are pleased to announce the signing of a Strategic Collaboration Agreement to advance digital transformation initiatives across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Sultanate of Oman.
This partnership aims to accelerate the region’s industrial transition into the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution by assessing and enhancing the operational excellence and digital maturity of manufacturing companies. Leveraging INCIT’s globally recognised Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) and the recently launched Operational Excellence Readiness Index (OPERI), the collaboration will enable companies to better understand their current capabilities and chart a clear roadmap for technology investment towards Smart Manufacturing.
Key objectives of the partnership include:
- Conducting Official SIRI Assessments (OSAs) for selected companies in Bahrain and Oman;
- Organising SIRI Awareness Workshops to build industry-wide knowledge and readiness across the three focus countries;
- Showcasing the success stories of Yokogawa’s digital transformation initiatives at the SIRI Summit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, taking place from 1 to 3 December 2025.
“The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to industrial advancement through data-driven tools and strategic capacity-building,” said Dr Jesmond Hong, COO of INCIT. “By combining Yokogawa’s strong presence in the region with INCIT’s proven prioritisation indexes, we are supporting manufacturers to make informed, measurable progress on their transformation journeys.”
Dr Darius Ngo, head of Digital enterprise Solution Business Unit, added: “This partnership will not only strengthen our regional engagements but also help our clients become future-ready through structured assessments and expert guidance toward digital transformation—transforming assessment into actionable, strategic results.”
This strategic alliance underscores the growing momentum for smart manufacturing across the Gulf region and reinforces both parties’ roles in shaping a competitive, sustainable, and innovation-driven industrial landscape.
